  • Participation in clinics for headaches and prosopalgias, treating patients with primary and secondary headaches, as well as patients with cranial neuralgia and atypical facial pain syndromes.
  • Certification for injecting botulinum toxin type A (Botox) in patients with headache syndromes not responding to oral treatment.
  • Participation in clinics for pain management, which included injectable invasive techniques such as cranial nerve blockings and botulinum toxin type A (Botox), for the management of chronic migraines and other types of headache disorders.

D. Nutrition, Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease
 
Participation in the activities of the Geriatric Clinic, the Medical and Surgical School of the University of Padua, Italy. The clinical and research interest was focused on the polypathology of patients with Alzheimer's disease. This involved patients who, besides the neurological symptoms of the disease, also had other pathological problems with emphasis on the interaction of drugs. 

The 2.5-year research project entitled "Nutrition and Weight Loss in Alzheimer's Disease" concerned the study of weight loss in this category of patients, evaluated the nutritional interventions, and focused on the education of the relatives - caregivers who experienced difficulties on daily basis in feeding the patients, aiming at improving the quality of the life for both patient and caregiver.
